How to rent a house

In these times of a “Housing Crisis “ (which in the last year in my markets of Tauranga & Rotorua I now agree with) you need to stand out from the crowd.

There generally is a property to suit every bodies expectations & price range but there will be competition. We are not looking for the professional family in every property but the right tenants to suit the particular house & area.

We may get 20 to 50 applications per property and invite the best 10 to 15 for a viewing. The note section at the top of your tenancy application is very important and gives you the opportunity to get noticed & tell me a bit about yourself.

I am a cleaner so take pride in my house always being presentable. Although I have a dog he is well behaved and stays outside while we are not home. My current landlord can vouch for this little guy. My children are bought up with respect so are very well behaved.

We are an adventure seeking South African family excited to form part of the Tauranga community and to experience the different cultures that the Bay of Plenty may offer. Even though we love the adventures that life gives us we also enjoy quality family time at home, whether it’s a BBQ, working in the garden or just relaxing with a Friday night movie and popcorn. Hi myself and girls aged ..and … have returned from Australia after 5 years previous to that we lived in Papamoa for 5 years. We are house proud and would treat your house like our own. My eldest daughter is doing Bachelor of …….. in Tauranga and the other attending college. We have excellent references having lived in the past two houses for five years each. Looking for long term but at least a years lease would be great to start. Staying with my sister till we find a house to call home.
